Personalised dog nutrition support for your individual dog
Useful feeding advice should take account of more than age and weight alone. Your dog’s current diet, body condition, appetite, activity, health history, preferences and practical routine all matter.
I am Monika Rozwarzewska-Delves, a qualified Canine Nutritionist, Canine Behaviourist and Dog First Aider. I provide clear, practical guidance for owners who want to understand their dog’s diet and make sensible feeding decisions without getting lost in contradictory claims.
What I can help you with
A consultation can help you organise the information you already have, identify sensible next steps and make feeding decisions that suit both your dog and your household.
Changing your dog’s food
Plan a gradual transition, understand what to monitor and reduce the temptation to change several things at once when the digestive system objects.
Sensitive stomachs and food trials
Review ingredients, treats, chews and feeding patterns, and create a more structured approach to monitoring digestive or skin-related concerns.
Portions, weight and body condition
Look beyond the number on the scales and consider body condition, activity, recent weight changes, appetite and the energy content of the food.
Puppy feeding
Discuss age-appropriate food, portioning, meal frequency and the practical realities of feeding during weaning and early growth.
Fussy eating and appetite
Consider routine, palatability, treats, learned behaviour and possible health factors rather than assuming the dog is simply being difficult.
Understanding labels and current food
Review whether a food is complete or complementary, how much your dog is actually eating and what the feeding information means in practice.
How the process works
Tell me about your dog
Complete the feeding questionnaire with details of your dog’s age, weight, body condition, current food, daily amount, appetite, health and anything that concerns you.
I review the information
I look at the whole picture rather than treating one ingredient, one symptom or one feeding calculator as the answer to everything.
We agree the next step
Depending on what your dog needs, this may be practical feeding guidance, a consultation, closer monitoring, or a recommendation to speak to your veterinary practice first.
What to prepare
The more accurate the information, the more useful the advice. Where possible, have the following ready:
- Your dog’s current weight and recent weight trend
- A description of body condition, not only breed and age
- The exact brand and product currently fed
- How much food your dog actually eats in total each day
- The food’s energy information, if available
- Details of treats, chews, toppers and supplements
- Relevant diagnoses, medication and veterinary advice
- Photographs of the feeding guide or nutritional label if the information is difficult to interpret
I do not diagnose illness or prescribe treatment. Sudden changes in appetite, repeated vomiting or diarrhoea, significant weight loss, pain, lethargy, difficulty breathing or other worrying symptoms should be discussed promptly with a veterinary professional. Where a dog has a diagnosed medical condition, nutritional guidance should support rather than contradict the veterinary treatment plan.
Why work with me?
I combine canine nutrition knowledge with practical experience developing Nika Pet Food recipes, producing freshly cooked dog food and supporting owners with real feeding problems. I am also a qualified Canine Behaviourist and Dog First Aider, which helps me consider appetite, routine, behaviour and safety rather than looking at the bowl in isolation.
My approach is practical, evidence-led and individual. I will not promise that one ingredient, supplement or fashionable feeding method will solve every problem. Dogs are inconveniently more complicated than marketing departments would prefer.
Start with your dog
Complete the short questionnaire to tell me what your dog eats now, how their weight and appetite are changing, and what is worrying you. I will review the information personally.
