How the subscription works
Nothing begins automatically. I first confirm the products, delivery schedule, price and start date with you in writing.
Tell me what your dog needs
Complete the online form with your preferred recipes, quantities, delivery frequency and any relevant dietary information.
I review the request
I check the products, delivery arrangements and proposed start date, then confirm the monthly amount with you.
Set up Direct Debit
You receive a secure GoCardless link to authorise the agreed monthly payment. Nika Pet Food does not collect or store your bank details.
Receive your meals
I cook, pack and deliver your dog’s meals according to the schedule we have agreed.
Choose the meals that suit your dog
Your subscription can include an agreed mix of available Nika Pet Food recipes. You can select different proteins and quantities, rather than being tied to one flavour for three months like a hostage in an unusually polite freezer.
Dogs new to Nika Pet Food should usually try a smaller order or mixed bundle first. This gives you time to see what they enjoy and what suits them before committing to regular quantities.
Is a subscription right for you?
A subscription may suit you if:
- Your dog already enjoys Nika Pet Food.
- You place regular repeat orders.
- You want to save 10% on agreed meals.
- You prefer predictable deliveries.
- You have suitable freezer space.
- You know which recipes and quantities work for your dog.
Start with a smaller order first if:
- Your dog has not tried Nika Pet Food before.
- You are still identifying suitable proteins or recipes.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose more than one recipe?
Yes. Your subscription can contain an agreed mix of available recipes and quantities.
How often can I receive deliveries?
Weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or another agreed schedule may be possible, depending on your order and delivery arrangements.
Can I change the recipes or quantities later?
Yes, subject to availability and production planning. Please request changes at least seven days before the next scheduled delivery or production date.
Can I pause the subscription?
Pauses may be possible when requested in advance. Please contact me at least seven days before the next production or delivery date so I can confirm what can be changed.
How are payments collected?
The agreed monthly amount is collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless after you have completed the secure authorisation process.
Does Nika Pet Food receive my bank details?
No. Your bank details are entered through GoCardless and are not collected through the Nika Pet Food subscription form.
Can I order additional packs?
Yes, subject to availability. Additional packs receive the same discount and are invoiced separately, with payment due within three days of the invoice date.
What happens after the first three months?
The subscription continues under the agreed arrangements unless you cancel it by giving at least 14 days’ notice by email.
